Cicely was able to add “Author” to her credentials in 2016 when she was elected to co-author books, The Professional Black Woman and The Black Female Leader as the financial expert with PWN. Cicely also contributes as a writer to The Birmingham Market Magazine, and previously to Birmingham Times, Domestique Chic (online magazine), and Single Moms Rock (online magazine), making a powerful influence on the financial lives of many locally and nationwide.

 

Cicely is a member of National Small Business Association Leadership Council, Community Foundation of Birmingham Philanthropist, American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, The Professional Women Network and the American Business Women’s Association. She is licensed as a Health & Life Insurance Agent and a Notary Signing Agent in the State of Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ.

 

Cicely also makes time to mentor local college students as well as small business owners operating across the country. Her professional accolades and philanthropic efforts are part of the reason Cicely has been recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal as one of the Top 40 Under 40 recipients, Who’s Who in Birmingham Accounting, Women to Watch, and BizWomen Headliner. She also has been named “2020 & 2021 Woman of the Year” by the American Business Women’s Association.
